ABOUT THE EVENT
The recent surge in anti-Asian hate has been met with an unprecedented celebration of Asian American
creators at the highest levels on the national stage. From the success of television shows,
documentaries, and films to best-selling books and graphic novels by artists of Asian descent,
Asian Americans in the post-pandemic era are drawing themselves and their stories into
existence more than ever, using art as a form of representation and resistance.
In honor of Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month
and during a pivotal moment for Asian American representation in the arts, The WNET
Group's ALL ARTS and Exploring Hate initiatives team up with The Serica Initiative
to proudly present "Voices Rising: What's Next for Asian Americans in the Arts?"
A panel of celebrated Asian American artists will discuss where we are post-
pandemic, how to keep the momentum going, and what’s next for the Asian
American artist community, in a live, recorded discussion accompanied by
artistic performances.
You must register at the form below to be able to attend.
Seating and entry is first come, first served.

The program will be recorded and broadcast on ALL ARTS and
streamed across all partner platforms on June 10th.

It’s a very complicated moment. We want to celebrate, but at the same time, we have to recognize that much more needs to be done.
