The Lunar New Year Celebration is an annual street festival in Seattle’s Chinatown-International District. This free, all-ages street festival celebrates 2025 the Year of the Snake through street vendors, a neighborhood food walk, cultural performances, and food trucks.
For more than 20 years, the Lunar New Year Celebration has highlighted each zodiac animal and celebrates the year's symbolism.

Join us in celebrating the Year of the Snake! The evening will include an interactive Lo Hei ritual, dinner, drinks, and a raffle.
Lo Hei (or Yusheng), also known as a Prosperity Toss, is a Cantonese-style salad popularized in Singapore Malaysia. In this ritual, each Lo Hei ingredient is introduced with a saying symbolizing a wish for the new year, culminating in all participants shouting wishes and tossing the ingredients with chopsticks—the higher your toss, the higher your fortune’s growth.
