Thank you to all those that joined us at last night’s Climate, Comedy, and Cocktails event at the China Institute in America! We’re thrilled to share that it was a tremendous success, and we couldn't have done it without the energy and enthusiasm of the crowd. The house was packed and seats were filled to experience the eclectic programming of the evening! Guests first enjoyed the various climate friendly vendors over speciality cocktails and delicious plant-based dumplings, sandwiches, and noodles from Junzi Kitchen, Saigon Deli, and Christine Wong.

A special thank you goes out to our incredible host, BD Wong, who led us through a fantastic evening, as well as our talented expert panelists Jeffrey Shaman, Becca Brenner, and Mingfang Ting who gave an important talk on the importance of actionable policy to lead the world through these unprecedented climate changes.

Despite the heavy topic, Jiaoying Summers had us all in stitches with her comedy set, adding the perfect touch of humor to the night. Guests were still eager in their seats to welcome our All Arts partner Kristy Geslain introduce the series, its many contributors, and watch the premiere of the award-winning documentary Climate Artists, which resonated so strongly with the audience.
Watch it again and the other 4 Climate Artists episodes here, airing every Wednesday in October. Comment and share with friends - your engagement is key to our success!
The program ended with a sit down between sTo Len and Lisa Gold, where they discussed sTo's artist journey and why he chose to work with garbage!
We also want to extend our gratitude to the vendors and sponsors who contributed to the evening's success:
Zeroe Caviar, Tippsy Sake, and Cape Classics Wine for the delightful drinks.
Nguyen Coffee Supply for the caffeine boost & 50 Hertz for the peanuts in each of your bags.
Rothy's for the comfy shoes for our staff, raffle, and speakers
Tossware for providing compostable cups!
NYEnvironcom for ensuring our event stayed eco-friendly with composting services.
The China Institute in America for its amazing team and space
