On February 5th in NYC, the Serica family had over 100 guests sign up to join us at the Corner Chinese Restaurant to kick off the Year of the Snake and unveil our brand-new website, logo, and initiatives for 2025. The room buzzed with energy as familiar faces from our benefit committee members, CEO dinner, CINGS members, sponsors, partners, friends reconnected and new connections blossomed over delicious Chinese bites, drinks, and vibrant conversations.
✨ A Night of Reflection & Vision
Our very own Anla Cheng (CEO) and Andrea Louie (Executive Director) delivered heartfelt remarks, reflecting on Serica’s incredible journey and sharing their excitement for what’s ahead. They highlighted our 2024 milestones—from our impactful video series to community events—and gave a sneak peek into the programs that will shape 2025:

Guests also had the pleasure of meeting Janet Oh, Serica’s new Director of Development, whose passion and expertise will help propel Serica’s growth in the years to come.
The evening was brought to life with a dynamic dance performance by the trio of talented AAPI artists Audrey Thao Berger, Hiroka Ngai, and Ndaru Kartikaningsih, adding a festive flair to the celebration. A huge shout-out to Berto and Dufan from Corner Chinese for their impeccable hospitality and delicious offerings.
